Digital Trust Monitoring

The assessment re-run every quarter against live sources, with the movement in each area reported and an alert raised on the things that fail without anybody noticing. It keeps a certification current, and it is the only route to the Proven and Exemplary levels.

Quarterly, and the reason it is quarterly

Often enough to catch what has changed. Rarely enough to be worth reading.

Most of what this assessment measures does not move week to week. A domain does not change hands, a registered office does not move and a privacy policy does not get rewritten on a monthly cycle. What does happen is that things lapse quietly — and a quarterly reading catches that comfortably inside the window in which it matters.

What fails silently

These are the findings a business almost never discovers on its own, because nothing breaks and nobody is notified:

  1. A DMARC policy moved back to `p=none` during an email migration, reopening the domain to impersonation.

  2. A certificate approaching expiry on a subdomain nobody watches.

  3. A domain renewal contact pointing at an inbox belonging to somebody who has left.

  4. A accreditation logo still displayed after the certificate behind it lapsed.

  5. A registered office changed at Companies House and not changed on the website.

  6. A published telephone number that has stopped being answered.

Each of these is a hard-floor item. Any one of them ends a certification.

What you receive

Each quarter: the re-run report, the movement in each of the ten areas since the previous run, and the updated certification status. Between runs: an alert by email whenever a hard-floor item changes state, raised when it is found rather than held until the next quarterly report.

An AI Visibility Audit is re-run at the same cadence and included, so the AI reading is comparable quarter to quarter rather than being a series of unrelated snapshots.

The score is allowed to fall

A quarterly run can score lower than the one before it, and it is supposed to be able to. If the score only ever rises, the reading is not measuring anything. Where a fall crosses a certification threshold, the rules on notice and step-down apply → certification

What it costs

A quarterly fee covers the re-assessment, the AI Visibility Audit re-read, the movement report and hard-floor alerting. The annual certification fee is separate, and both are published → pricing

Questions

Digital Trust AuditVerified from the outside in.

Not at Confirmed. Proven and Exemplary both require it, because those levels state something about how a business is being run rather than how it looked on one day.

Yes, at the end of any quarter. The certification then runs to its expiry date and is not refreshed after it.

Yes — re-read each quarter, on the same agreed questions, so the results are comparable.
